Womanizer Starlet 2 Review: Will This Budget Vibrator Satisfy?

The Womanizer Starlet 2 is a great improvement on the Starlet release. This toy comes with a more discreet use and is also stronger. The medical-grade silicone used for the stimulating nozzle is superb and retails at a fairly cheap price.

Womanizer Starlet 2

The Good | The Womanizer Starlet has a large and flat nozzle. This is ideal for ladies who need broader clitoral stimulations. The nozzle is also removable which makes cleaning an easy process. It’s also relatively cheaper. A recommendable start for beginners.

The Bad | The Starlet’s motor is a tad bit too jerky. What this means is that it may end up numbing you more than it’ll make you orgasm. The button controls can get slippery especially when the showers come on. It also only has 4 intensity levels.

The Bottom Line | The Starlet is an okay product that banks on accommodating most clitoral anatomies because of its larger nozzle. The small body build is also ideal for a snug fit in your palms. Though the motors are louder than the Liberty, it’ll still work well for you if you’re new to Pleasure Air stimulation.

The Womanizer has released numerous products for the ladies over the years and is still working on ways to improve its products.

They’re most popular for coming up with the impressive Smart Silence technology and the Autopilot as witnessed in the Premium model.

In this Womanizer Starlet review, we are going to look at Starlet 2 that is an upgrade of the Starlet.

Right off the bat, the most notable difference is the control interface. The Starlet 2 has 2 buttons at the front while the Starlet had only 1.

Its body is smaller than the Womanizer Premium and Pro40 which makes storing and handling an easy task.

Also, from the spluttering motion that you’ll get from it, you’ll tell that it’s far from the normal oral stimulation that you’re used to.

And in case you might be wondering… Yes, Starlet 2 is stronger and more discreet than the Starlet during usage.

So, what more do we have to know about this Womanizer?

Let’s find out below!

Womanizer Starlet review: Tech and Specs Overview

Womanizer Starlet Review tech and Specs Overview

This model is way smaller than the Classic, Pro40, and Premium models. It’s slightly bigger by approximately 1.25” than the first Starlet and still has a snug fit in the hands.

In detail… Starlet 2’s measurements are 4.6 x 1.81 x 1.85 inches and weigh only 0.15 lbs.

…That’s super light.

The model has 2 primary materials: Medical-grade silicone and ABS plastic.

The ABS Plastic comprises a greater part of the body and the hypoallergenic Silicone is used to make the nozzle.

These materials are all body-safe and are approved for use.

Battery Life

Starlet 2, like others in the line, also comes with a magnetic charging feature at the back. To charge the battery, you simply clip the charger at the two terminals and it’ll attach itself.

An LED light flashes repeatedly when the toy is successfully charging.

The only downside to Starlet 2 is that a full charge will only serve you for about 30 minutes.

This, to most hedonists (male and female alike), is always a buzzkill to their pleasure journey.

Price, Where To Buy

Well, unlike the other high-end versions like Premium or Duo, Starlet is relatively cheap to acquire. It has a $70 – 80 price range currently in the market.

To get your hands on one, you can check-in at Womanizer online store ($79) where you get free shipping for orders above $50 and a valid warranty.

You can also check out Lovehoney ($79.99) where they offer free shipping for orders above $60 and a 4-month payment plan.

I again warn you NOT TO BUY these products from Amazon or eBay. This is because you’ll likely receive a phony knock-off made from substandard materials that could potentially harm your body. Even worse, they don’t come with a valid warranty or a working return policy.

Let’s Compare Different Model Specs

Design & Features

Womanizer Starlet 2 Design and features

It has 4 intensity levels as compared to the 8 in Pro40 (more info in our Womanizer Pro review) and 12 in the Premium. So basically, you’ll have a restricted ground for experimentation.

The intensities though, are stronger than the Starlet’s and kinda matches the Liberty if you ask my girl.

The Starlet still uses the Pleasure Air technology to deliver the pressure wave stimulating experience.

The 2 button control is simple but also difficult to maneuver when things get wet. Yet, it’s still an improvement from the cumbersome single button control of the Starlet.

The compact body is also a wonderful bonus for hand use. This is again coupled with a broader stimulating nozzle. It distributes wider sensations over your clitoris and upper vulva regions.

This model is relatively quiet but a bit noisy when you ramp up the higher settings. It has a 40 – 60 Db noise range depending on the setting you’re on.

But all this is significantly muffled when you place it against your clitoris.

In Use: How Does It Feel Like?

As always, my super supportive girl came through to help us get a feel of what the Starlet has to offer. Can’t thank her enough for this 🙂

Anyways, moving on to serious business…

I’d recommend that you first charge the toy before using it. This is more backed by the fact that playtime is really limited in this one.

Also, you may use a water-based lubricant to improve the suction experience.

So, how does this work?

Well, to first turn it on, you press the (+) button for 2 seconds until you hear a soft rumbling coming on.

After a gentle pre-game session, my girl pulled back her labia gently and lightly placed the silicone nozzle on her now-exposed clitoris member.

The default setting didn’t do much for her but there was stimulation all the same. So to pump up the volume, we pressed the (+) button again to increase the intensity level of the pressure-waves.

There’s an LED light that flashes to indicate a successful intensity change. And the two higher intensities sort of got her in the zone as I could see her start to make subtle moans.

10 minutes into the session I felt like maybe I wasn’t getting something right and gave her control.

She blasted up the highest intensity and resorted to wedging the toy between her legs. I guess that did something for her but it wasn’t as intense as when she uses her Lovense Lush.

One thing that she commended was the fact that the silicone nozzle fits comfortably and had no discomfort whatsoever.

Also, I noticed that its small size could become troublesome if you have bigger hands.

To turn off the rumblings, you press and hold the () button for 2 seconds, and everything will shut down.

How Easy To Clean & Durability

Cleaning this Womanizer is easy. It’s waterproof and has a detachable nozzle that you can soak in warm and soapy water.

Since the body is majorly plastic, you can opt to spray-clean it with a toy cleaner. Also, mind checking the side seams for any trace of lube or cum logging.

Would I Recommend It? If so, to whom?

Like all Womanizer toys, this is all a matter of personal preference with respect to anatomy. I’d recommend it to ladies who’re already into suction play and like gentler stimulations.

Who Is It For?

  • If you’re new to the pressure wave stimulation.
  • Girls who prefer something different from vibrations.
  • If you are working on a low budget.
  • If you’re a travel girl.

Who Is It Not For?

  • If you need more powerful intensity levels to get you off.
  • Girls who prefer quicker orgasms over slow build-ups.
  • If you want to sustain longer sessions.
  • If you have larger hands.

What Do Other People Think About It?

See what other users had to say about the Womanizer Starlet on Reddit.

“Liberty feels similar to the more expensive Classic, though it’s a little sturdier… The next step down, Starlet 2, is still good, but it’s louder than Liberty and not as powerful.

The Pro40 is a really old model. It’s priced similarly to the much newer Classic, so if you’re considering the Pro40, I’d just go with the Classic or, if you don’t mind its small size, Liberty.”

“It’s so tiny! It isn’t fully charged yet, but I did turn it on for a second just to test the volume. It is quieter than a Hitachi but much louder than my WeVibes. When it’s actually in contact with skin it’s not too bad.

This is something that I wouldn’t worry about apartment neighbors hear, but roommates might. I am pretty sure a shower would completely mask the sound.

I would say it sounds like a fish tank motor while in contact with your skin, and a UFO tractor beam when not.”

Womanizer Starlet 2 alternatives

If you feel thrown off by the small size, design, or intensities offered by Starlet 2, then these alternatives might help you…

At #1 is the Womanizer Premium which is a higher-end toy providing a broader range of intensities with a sleek body design.

If you want something a bit cheaper, then the Satisfyer Pro 2 ($50) might hack it for you. Use -25% code to get 25% off.

Conclusion: Final Thoughts

The Womanizer Starlet is a unique entry of its own and will definitely have a following among some of the girls.

The intensity levels might come under fire from ladies who like a more aggressive touch to get off.

The fact that it also comes with one nozzle is a turn off for some who’d prefer the interchangeable options as with the Duo or Pro versions.

The price is cheap and most people will afford it.

But if you’d want to explore more refined devices, then the Premium and Satisfyer Pro 2 (more info in our Satisfyer Pro review) may work for you.

That’s all for today!
